The most courageous holiday of the year is coming - Defender of the Fatherland Day. If you still can’t figure out what to give to your beloved men, then create unique gifts for them with your own hands. This article contains the easiest, but at the same time, interesting and detailed DIY crafts for February 23rd, which your child can easily present to dad or grandfather as a gift on Defender of the Fatherland Day.

I present to you the 10 best master classes - how to make crafts for February 23rd with your own hands with step-by-step photographs.

Men, although they don’t show it, still really look forward to attention from their children. And their young talents will definitely make them happy if, under the guidance of their mother or teacher, they make an unusual craft. How can you express recognition and respect to your beloved defender? How to reward him for his courage and care without further ado, to show his pricelessness and selflessness? You need to prepare a wonderful gift for him with your own hands. The best men deserve awards. Your dad, brother, friend or grandfather is exactly that.

If you have firmly decided to engage in interesting creativity with children in preparation for Defender of the Fatherland Day, to make an excellent gift for the strongest and bravest member of your family, then you can take our step-by-step master classes as a basis.

Most often, children choose airplanes as a gift for February 23rd. But there are a huge number of ways to create them, as well as possible materials for this: cardboard, paper, matchboxes and much more. In this master class I will show you how to make an airplane from a plastic bottle using the papier-mâché technique.

We take a plastic bottle, in my case it is a small 0.5 liter water bottle. Cut it off with a knife just above the middle, and also cut off the spout of the bottle.

We make cuts on both sides and connect the pieces.

If you wish, you can copy our sketch and transfer it to a sheet of A4 paper, folded in half.

Using glue and tape, attach the wings and tail.

For airplane wheels you need 6 plastic bottle caps. Using tape, we connect two and four covers together.

We glue the wheels and begin to cover the plane with pieces of newspaper, having previously soaked them with PVA glue using the papier-mâché technique.

Cover the top layer with white paper or white napkins. After all the layers of the craft have dried, paint the finished plane with acrylic paint.

All that remains is to add a star-shaped applique, and cut out photographs can be glued to the portholes.

Our plane is ready to fly!

02. Bookmark in the form of shoulder straps

By February 23, all children make gifts for their dads. And most often these are souvenirs that they make with their own hands. Therefore, in this master class we will sew a felt bookmark in the form of an shoulder strap. Such a gift will be not only thematic, but also useful.

To make a bookmark you will need:

  • Olive and yellow felt;
  • The thread is red and yellow;
  • Scissors;
  • Needle;
  • Cardboard;
  • Green satin ribbon.

To make a bookmark, you don't need to first prepare a paper template, since we just need to cut out 2 rectangles. We cut out 2 sides of the shoulder straps from olive-colored felt. First, cut out 2 identical rectangles, and then cut off 2 corners on one side of each rectangle. You can use green felt.

We will make shoulder straps with 3 stars, which we will arrange in a triangle. Cut out 3 stars from yellow felt. First you can make a template out of paper. You can embroider stars. You can also make it just 2 stars or more. It all depends on desire.

Now you need to sew on the resulting stars. Sew 2 on the edges opposite each other and 1 in the center higher. You need to sew the star to the side of the shoulder strap where there are corners, and not to where we cut them. We try to sew them evenly so as not to spoil the appearance of the bookmark.

Now insert the red thread into the needle. We will embroider stripes, which are usually found on many shoulder straps. We embroider them along the shoulder strap from the stars to the very end. We will make 2 of them in total. From 1 extreme star, and from the second star from the edge. We make the stitches as close to each other as possible to create the effect of a continuous strip.

You can not embroider stripes, but cut thin long strips from felt and sew or glue them.

In order for the bookmark to keep its shape, you need to cut out the same piece from cardboard as you cut out from felt. We just make it a little smaller so that it is easier to sew later. We place it between 2 bookmark parts. And then we sew the 2 parts together using a buttonhole stitch, or any other that seems more convenient. But we don’t sew it all together.

Below, where the stars are, leave a hole in the center. We will insert a green satin ribbon there and sew it on. This ribbon will mark the page where reading stopped.

This is such a simple but interesting bookmark. Children will be happy to make such a souvenir for their beloved dad, which will truly appreciate the child’s attention.

03. DIY plasticine tank

A tank made with your own hands from plasticine is an excellent craft for Defender of the Fatherland Day. You can later take it to an exhibition or give it to your grandfather, dad or brother.

For this master class we will need green, black and red plasticine, also a piece of wire, a toothpick and a pencil.

We will make the lower part of the tank body in the form of a rectangular block, sharpening one of its sides.

We prepare two black strips, pressing them along the entire length with a toothpick, 10 large cakes and 4 small ones made of green plasticine.

Press down the cakes with the back of a pencil and draw axes with the tip of a toothpick.

We put together 5 wheels and 2 small ones on each side, we wrap them around the track.

Place green protection tape on top.

Glue the tracks on the sides.

Take the second green block.

We glue it on, bevelling the front part with a stack.

We attach the barrel in front and add small parts, an antenna and a star made of red plasticine.

Our plasticine tank is ready!

This approach to solving the problem of finding an unforgettable gift is traditional when children give gifts to their fathers and grandfathers on February 23. How many such gifts are created by children's hands! To do this, they use not only a variety of paper and plasticine, but also candies, ribbons, ice cream sticks and many other unusual items.

The availability and convenience of such materials make it possible to constantly use them, and to use them in a new way with each new craft. It's no secret that the same materials can be used in crafts of varying complexity. There are many similar master classes, which are also aimed at children of different ages and with different skills.

In this lesson we will make such a simple plane out of cardboard.

Draw all the parts of the plane.

For the case, you can take a juice box.

We cut out the blanks as shown in the photo. Red paper stars.

Glue the tail of the plane to a matchbox.

The cardboard plane is ready!

This gift can be made for dad or brother. For this master class you will need:

  • candies;
  • cling film;
  • toothpicks;
  • scotch;
  • penoplex;
  • blue corrugated paper;
  • silver cord;
  • glue.

Cut out a circle from penoplex.

You can first draw a sketch of the steering wheel on paper, then transfer it to penoplex.

We decorate the edges with a cord.

Wrap the candies in cling film.

We attach them to a toothpick using tape.

We decorate the steering wheel with ready-made candies.

Our sweet steering wheel is ready!

06. Tank made of two sponges

This craft can be a wonderful gift from a child for the holidays of May 9 or February 23. Its production will not take much time, and the materials needed will be a sponge for washing dishes. Our master class shows the step-by-step production of a tank from scrap materials.

To work you will need:

  1. two green sponges;
  2. scissors;
  3. ruler;
  4. dark felt-tip pen;
  5. glue gun;
  6. ruble coin;
  7. green straw.

We tear off a dense layer from one of the sponges.

On the back side of this dense layer of sponge, using a ruble coin and a dark felt-tip pen, draw six circles.

Let's cut them out.

Then we take a glue gun and use it to attach these circles to the sides of the other sponge (three circles on each side).

Let's start making the turret of our tank. To do this, on the remaining soft part of the sponge (from which the dense layer was torn off) we mark a square with sides of 4 cm.

Cut out the tower with scissors.

Cut 8 cm from the green straw - this will be the barrel of our tank. We insert it into the tower, having previously made a small depression in it using scissors.

Apply hot glue to the underside of the tower.

We attach the tower to the main part.

If you wish, you can decorate the tank; to do this, cut out small stars from red cardboard.

Glue them to the sides of the tower. Our tank is ready.

This craft will not only be a good gift for February 26th, but will also serve as a toy for a boy.

This star is very easy to make - for it we need wire, red yarn and PVA glue.

Using pliers, we make a star out of wire.

Leave to dry.

To create this airplane you will need wooden clothespins, two popsicle sticks, a piece of cardboard for the tail, two thin wooden tubes and acrylic paints.

Using hot glue and straws, attach the ice cream sticks together.

We make a tail blank from cardboard.

Glue the tail to a clothespin.

We paint the finished plane with acrylic paints.

Instilling a sense of patriotism in children is one of the most important tasks of teachers and parents. But it is not enough for young children to simply talk about the war, about battles, victories and defeats. For them, visual aids, games and activities dedicated to military topics occupy a very important place.

Therefore, a child should not only hear about the war, but also watch illustrations, filming, photographs, and also capture his emotions in drawings or crafts. Despite the fact that knitting is mainly done by girls, this applique will undoubtedly arouse interest among young defenders of the Fatherland.

To knit the “Tank” applique, you need to prepare the following materials:

  • Hook No. 1;
  • Yarn of medium thickness, for example, “Jeans”;
  • Decorative star. If you don’t find one, you can take it from the New Year’s pendants to decorate the Christmas tree;
  • Scissors
  • Glue “Moment”, preferably transparent.

We start knitting appliqués with its “caterpillars”. To do this, we cast on 10 air loops.

Then we knit 3 more air loops for lifting, and after that we knit single crochets to the end of the row. In the very last loop of the row we knit 7-8 double crochets to make a “fan” of loops. If the edge bends at this point, then increase the number of single crochets, since the applique should be flat.

Next, we knit double crochets along the opposite edge to the very last loop, where we started the row. In this loop we again make a “fan” of double crochets, but in smaller quantities than in the previous case, since there are already several loops in this place. As a result, you should end up with an elongated oval like this - the “caterpillar” of the tank.

In the second row, first we knit 5 single crochets.

After this, we make 1 air loop to highlight the beginning of knitting the upper part of the tank.

Turn the knitting and knit 8 single crochets again.

To make a tank cannon in this place, we knit 5 chain stitches.

We add another loop for lifting, and then along these chain loops we knit single crochets to the end of the row, including 8 tank “cabin” loops.

Turn the applique again and knit 8 single crochets. To finish the work, use Moment glue to carefully glue the star onto the “cabin” of the tank.

The “Tank” application is ready. It can be used to make postcards for Victory Day, February 23, or any other themed crafts.

Are you preparing a gift for a man? Don't have anything to decorate your gift box with? Or maybe you have prepared an original card and you need a bright accent for it? A made male flower will help you get out of any situation. To create such masterpieces, you can use candy wrappers, notebook leaves, craft paper, and anything else.

On the Internet you can find special sheets that need to be cut.

You can take any designer paper with a neutral or masculine design.

Some people might like this color option.

So, let's start creating. To work you need:

  • The paper described above is 5x5 cm in size. Having mastered the technique, you can create flowers of any size. The paper may be neatly cut or have torn edges.
  • Glue for fixing modules.

First flower option
Fold the module in half, then in half again to make a smaller square.

You need to make 8 modules in this way.

Four modules must be glued to any piece of paper with a small gap, placing the folded corner inward.

Then, in exactly the same way, only without indents, we glue four more modules on top, rotating them 45 degrees.

We decorate the middle, curl the edges a little, and the stylish decoration is ready.

If, when gluing the first four modules, you leave a larger gap between them, the flower will look different.
A more complex flower

Fold the paper squares as shown in the photo.

First, a diagonal line is found, then the sides of the square are tucked towards it. The resulting airplane is folded in half lengthwise. We make 8 identical modules. Last step: you need to carefully insert the modules into one another, using the resulting pockets.

At the end we get an original decoration for a man's gift.

In this case, glue will only be needed to fix the finished decor directly on the gift item. If you make modules from squares with the same pattern, fold the modules exactly the same, relative to the pattern, then your flowers will look neater and acquire an additional pattern.

This cute tank can be made from matchboxes and colored paper.

We cover the boxes with green paper as shown in the photo. For the tower we take a green cap from a plastic bottle, for the barrel we wrap a toothpick in green paper.

We cut out the wheels from black paper.

All that remains is to assemble all the parts and the tank is ready!

Crafts for February 23rd, created by a child with his own hands with great care and attention, are of great value on this holiday.

A unique gift will bring joy not only to the parents, but also to the child himself, because with its help he will express his love for them. Let him bring joyful emotions to your loved ones!

Not all men have a positive attitude towards useless gifts, therefore, help your child create a craft with his own hands that will be useful and will not gather dust somewhere in the closet. If you think a little, the created gift can turn out to be much more surprising and practical than the purchased one.

February 23 is approaching - Defender of the Fatherland Day. On this day, we gladly congratulate all men, regardless of whether they served in the army or not. Children will definitely want to congratulate their grandfathers and fathers, and the best gift for them is a gift that is made with their own hands.

The most common and easy gift that you can make yourself is a postcard. I offer two options for postcards that children can make starting from 6-7 years of age. These postcards are united by one theme - marine, the process of making them is simple, but requires patience, accuracy and diligence, and the material for these postcards was colored paper and cardboard. It will take no more than 1 hour to make each card.

To work we will need:

1. Colored paper;
2. Colored cardboard;
3. Simple pencil;
4. Regular and manicure scissors;
5. Ruler;
6. Glue - pencil;
7. Compasses or round objects.

Postcard "Boat"

Take A4 colored cardboard and fold it in half. On the front side, using a compass, draw a small circle (if you don’t have a compass, it doesn’t matter, you can circle any round object that comes to hand). Using nail scissors, carefully so as not to tear the paper, cut out a circle.

On brown cardboard we draw a boat, the dimensions of the boat are as follows: width at the top - 11 cm, bottom - 9 cm, height - 4 cm. Cut out the resulting boat.

Next we make waves: for this we need white and blue paper.

Using a simple pencil, draw waves on white paper - they should turn out higher, and the blue waves should be lower. We also cut out the waves.

Now we place the boat and waves on the postcard and glue them with glue - a pencil.

It's time to make the sail. To do this, bend a small piece of red paper in half: the height of the sail is 14 cm, the width is 7 cm. Cut out the resulting triangle. The sail turns out to be double-sided.

Apply glue to one of the sides, top and bottom, and glue it to the center of the boat.

At the top of the card, to liven up the composition a little, we glue white clouds.

Our card is ready! Inside it you can write a congratulation for your dad, grandfather or just a classmate. I'm sure they will be pleasantly surprised and pleased with such a gift!

Postcard "Sailboat"

For the base of the postcard we will need A5 blue cardboard. First, draw a very ordinary sailboat on a white sheet of paper and cut it out (you can take a sailboat template). We trace this sailboat along the contour on colored cardboard and again carefully cut it out.

We draw and cut out the waves in the same way as described in making the “Boat” postcard.

To make a sun, draw two circles of different sizes on yellow and orange paper.

It is best to cut them out with curly scissors, or you can simply carefully tear them out with your fingers using the “torn applique technique.”

Now we will place all the elements of the applique on the postcard. We begin to glue them in the following sequence: first, a large circle of the sun, glue a smaller circle on it, then glue a sailboat and waves.

We make the sails using the same technology as we did in the “Boat” postcard; the left sail should be double-sided, and the right one can be made one-sided.

In order to glue them, we coat only the edges with glue and stick them on the sailboat.

Now let’s draw and cut out a red flag, it should also be double-sided, and stick it on top of the sailboat’s mast.

On the left side of the card we will glue two white seagulls. They are made very simply: first they are drawn on paper, cut out, and after we glue them, we use a black felt-tip pen to emphasize the ends of their wings and the place of the head.

The postcard is ready!

Such original cards can be made both in kindergarten and at school, as well as at home with your mother or grandmother. I think that our men will be pleased to receive these small gifts on Defender of the Fatherland Day. Children's efforts will not be in vain, because the warmth of the soul invested by the child during work will be felt by everyone. Happy upcoming Defender of the Fatherland Day!

Is there a boy indifferent to sea romance? Not everyone can become conquerors of the ocean depths, but everyone can play a sea battle or simply launch ships. The game will be more enjoyable if you “build” the boat with your own hands! You can also give them to your friends, as well as your dad or grandfather - on February 23rd! In today's master class, we present boats, the base of which is made from products that are painfully familiar to every woman; with their help, she restores “sea order” in the family nest. Even kindergarten-aged children can build their own fleet. Let's get started!

We will need:

Kitchen sponges;
- cleaning napkins;
- double-sided colored paper (red);
- a simple pencil;
- wooden kebab skewers;
- toothpicks;
- awl (gypsy needle);
- scissors;
- ruler.

How to make a boat with your own hands

Let's start with the basics. If the goal is to make one boat, then lines are drawn on the sponge with a pencil, defining what needs to be cut off to get the bow of the ship. If a whole fleet is being created or a craft is being done in kindergarten classes, then it is better to cut out a triangle from cardboard and apply it to the sponge, drawing the necessary lines. Using scissors, cut along the drawn lines.

Let's start sewing the sails on the main mast. From cleaning napkins we cut out three rectangles with dimensions: 5*7 cm, 4*6 cm and 3*5 cm.

Kebab sticks come in different lengths; for a sponge measuring 5*8 cm, the required length of the mast is 15 cm. Therefore, we measure and cut off the excess from the stick from the blunt side. It is quite difficult to simply pierce a napkin with the tip of a stick. Therefore, it is better to do this with an awl (nail scissors or a gypsy needle). Holes are made 0.5 cm from the edge in the middle of the “sail”. First, we pin a small sail onto the mast stick, then a medium one, and lastly a large one.

A ship without a flag is not a ship! From double-sided red colored paper, cut out 2 strips measuring 1.5*5 cm. Fold the strip in half and cut out a triangle on one side (not at the junction) - the flag is ready!

We coat the inside of the flag with glue and use it to “hug” the tip of the mast, gluing the two halves together. We do the same with a toothpick.

And the last effort is to stick a toothpick with a flag on the bow of the boat, and the mast at the stern. A toothpick with a kebab stick sticks well in a sponge, so you can do without glue. The ship is ready! Vashchilina Svetlana Nikolaevna, teacher at Murmansk Municipal Preschool Educational Institution No. 110.

Description: The master class is intended for children 6 years old, educators, additional education teachers, and parents. Working together with children 5 years old.

Target: Making a gift for dad on February 23rd.
Tasks:
- To develop skills and abilities to tie knots in a way accessible to children, to develop creativity, artistic taste, and accuracy in work;
- introduce children to safety precautions when working with scissors.

Necessary materials:

- cardboard tube - 1 pc.;
- Chinese sushi chopsticks - 7 pcs.;
- 1 ice cream stick;
- colored cotton threads;
- PVA glue;
- colored paper;
- curly scissors, classic scissors;
- paints;
- paper knife (used by adults);
- decorative beads on a marine theme.

Description of work:

1. Using scissors, make cuts at both ends of the tube. The depth of the cut is approximately 3 cm. Thus, we mark the middle of the tube.

2. We mark holes in the tube for the masts. And we make punctures with a sharp object. An adult makes all the holes.

3. Glue in the masts, which will serve as a frame. And we also fasten the stern and bow of the ship. We align all the sticks. We check that the masts fit well in the tube (all the way).

4. Place our workpiece on the table. We make a hole for the bridge between the masts. (adult cuts through)

5. Make two bridges from an ice cream stick. Using a paper knife, cut the stick in half.

6. Glue the bridge. Please note that the bridge is a stand for the ship. Therefore, we glue the sticks so that they rest against the table. For the stability of the boat.

7. We get the result.

8. Let's move on to the design of the ship's hull. Thread cuts 8 pcs. and tie two pieces with a loop on each mast.
Fold the thread in half, aligning the ends.

We draw it around one mast.

We thread the ends of the thread into a loop.

We tighten the thread. Coat the fastening area with PVA glue.

You can hang decorations on threads: seahorses, starfish, shells.

9. Let's move on to the design of the top part of the frame. Let's try on the wand.

And we fasten it in a way that is already known to us using thread.

We wrap the threads around the joint in a cross.

We coat all the threads with glue.

10. Now, we pull all the threads and stretch them, trying them on at the end of the bow and stern of the ship. Lubricate the stick with glue and tie the threads. Coat the top of the thread with glue. Taking into account the children's abilities. (not all children know how to tie knots).

We also attach the top thread for the flags.

11. Using colored paper, cut out flags with shaped scissors and glue them on.

12. We paint the ship’s hull with colored paints.

This is the kind of boat you can give to your beloved dad.
