Quartblog loves magical glowing things. Inspired by the photographs of cosmic luminous jars that have recently flooded the Internet, we decided to make the same ones, and at the same time write about it, because we did not find a detailed master class on their creation on the net.

We were inspired by this:

So, we need: glow sticks and glass jars, as well as scissors and napkins. The main advantage of the idea is the minimum cost. Usually luminous bracelets are sold in packs of 10, we took two packs in reserve and paid 240 rubles for it. The rest was found at home and in the office drawer.

Bend the sticks to make them glow. Be careful: fragments of the inner glass tank easily pierce the plastic, and you risk getting dirty with the glowing liquid. It is non-toxic and easily washed off the skin, but leaves greasy stains on clothes.

Trim the sticks from both ends. Be careful, the paint will spill and splatter! But this way you will facilitate its passage through the tube.

Shake the contents into a jar. We found this way: to chat for several minutes with a stick in a jar, tapping on the neck, then the splashes and fragments themselves will be distributed along the walls - evenly and beautifully.

Trick: so that the glow sticks can be turned into a bracelet, small plastic tubes are placed in the package with them. Gently, with clean hands, putting such a stick on the end of a stick cut off on both sides, you can easily blow its contents into a jar.

Add colors. Green and yellow sticks glow the brightest, white ones give a dull, but especially magical bluish glow, just like plankton at night in the ocean. We mixed the contents of yellow and orange sticks in one of the future lamps, and red and blue in the other.

Draw the curtains and turn off the lights. Ready! The jars glow magically and brightly.

Trick: Shards of the glass capsule stick to the sides of the jar and trap the rather liquid paint, creating picturesque blots. Try using a jar with a textured interior or pre-paint with clear glass paint. In addition, you can pour transparent glass balls into a jar.

So, making glowing jars is a breeze. It takes five minutes and 3-5 neon sticks to make one medium-sized magic night light (10 centimeters high and about 5-7 centimeters in diameter). This decoration is perfect for a noisy home party, and for a romantic dinner. Just do not forget that it is better to experiment just before the guests arrive: every hour the night lights will glow dimmer.

I try my best to make cleaning the house easier for myself, because working every day, there is too much time left for it, which is so pitiful. That's why I love it so much when open spaces remain, if possible, as free as possible. It really helps. But we still have enough frequently used things that it is not always logical to hide in a closet, otherwise it will complicate their use. Therefore, the next issue that I would like to solve is the ability to quickly free open space from frequently used items stored on it. That's why I love trays and various baskets, boxes with handles and drawer dividers. :))

Just for this project, I made one for the bathroom last weekend. Well, at the same time I supplemented the storage of various little things with stickers for convenience. Let's show you what happened.

Continuing the task I started last week of sorting out various small items, from , I moved on to the bathroom. There are a lot of small things here too. Therefore, I will start with such trifles as cotton buds, cotton pads, soap. Before that, all this lay in my bathroom cabinet in a basket on a shelf, which was literally not convenient, because the basket is relatively large, there were no dividers in it, and I came to the conclusion that such storage is not convenient, especially when The basket stores frequently used items such as sticks and discs, along with items that are not taken out every day (soap). Therefore, I decided to move cotton swabs and discs from this basket closer to the sink.

So, I decided on a storage place, now it remains to choose what to store it all in.

I intend to use a large jar for storing soap, small jars for cotton pads and sticks. I also like these convenient plastic cups from IKEA for storing toothbrushes and toothpaste. Since I'm moving the cotton buds closer to the sink, I'll tell you about the brushes.

So, now you can collect in one place, litter and place cotton swabs and discs, soap for new storage.

These jars do not have lids. Therefore, it is quite easy to open them. And that is why, in my opinion, they are so convenient for storing various little things.

I love stickers. I print them on self-adhesive paper. Plugged it in, peeled it off, no problem.

Well, in general, what happened and where it was put :)

From what would do beautiful vase to be cheap, fast and original? We offer you a master class on creating "Vases for kitchen utensils" from a can from chips. The creation process is easy to perform and takes a minimum of time. Such a vase will serve as a pleasant addition to the interior, and you can also give it to your mother or girlfriend for Valentine's Day or March 8th.

To make a vase, we need the following materials:

  • a large can of chips;
  • stationery knife;
  • glue gun;
  • glue instant crystal;
  • garden bamboo sticks;
  • paper tape;
  • narrow red satin ribbon;
  • silver ribbon;
  • two decorative hearts;
  • ruler.

With the help of a ruler on the bank at a height of 13 cm (along the entire circumference), we make notes and cut it into two parts. To create a vase, we will use most of it.

We glue paper tape (4-5 layers) on the bottom of the can, we do this so that the inscriptions and pictures do not shine through.

We take a garden stick, grease one of its sides with glue and glue it to the jar. It is better in this case to use the Crystal moment glue. We glue the whole jar.

When it remains to glue the last stick, a problem may arise - it will not fit in size. In this case, it will be necessary to plan it from the side with a clerical knife. The jar is sealed.

You can start decorating. We wrap the jar with a red satin ribbon and tie a bow (departing from the top edge of the jar 4.5 cm). In the course of work, we fix the tape with a glue gun.

Glue one piece of red tape to the bottom of the vase (departing from the edge of 1.5 cm). We tie a silver ribbon on a bow and cling to a red bow on top.

In the middle we put one decorative heart on the glue.

We tear off the lower part from the other heart and glue it on top of the bow.

The vase is ready to use not only as a stand for kitchen utensils, but also as a vase for small decorative bouquets!!!

Even a child can make the resulting vase from improvised means. Needlework develops imagination and a sense of beauty.
