Russia Day at the Yeltsin Center

On this day, the museum will talk about the impact of the declaration on the further history of our country. What did the striking miners stand for during the years of perestroika, why did only 13 participants of the Congress of People's Deputies of the RSFSR vote against the Declaration of Sovereignty? What should a renewed Soviet Union look like? Tours will take place at 14:00 and 16:00.

Also on Russia Day, two free concerts will be held at the Yeltsin Center. From 3 to 5 p.m., the copper quintet “Ekb Brass” will perform on the stage near the center and prepare a special program. The band is a classic brass quintet: 2 trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba. This composition was chosen based on the completeness and originality of the sound, the beauty of the timbre of brass instruments and the abundance of musical material for this composition.

Lately I have started to notice that I am spending a lot of money. Whether this is due to high prices for everything or the fact that I am a spender and cannot save, I don’t know. I think many of you are facing this problem. Therefore, I decided to check whether an ordinary person could live for a week on the most minimal amount. That’s how I started my challenge “Live seven days on 700 rubles.” Let me say right away that I live in Ulyanovsk, an ordinary provincial city.

To begin with, I identified the most common expense items. These turned out to be food, transport and entertainment.

I go to the grocery store every day and spend about 500 rubles. Every day. There have been no potatoes, sausages, or bread in my diet for a long time. I try to eat healthy, so I always have fruits, berries, greens in the refrigerator - it’s all quite expensive, especially out of season. I'm also very picky about food. For example, I won’t eat regular pasta for 30 rubles; I’ll take it for 100, with a label in Italian. Well, often I don’t have enough time to prepare lunch in advance, and I run to the store next to my office for a snack. This results in unnecessary expenses. As a result, I spend about 3 thousand rubles a week on groceries alone.

I get to work and back every day by public transport. Basically it's a minibus. The fare costs 20 rubles. If I go to a meeting, a movie or a cafe and stay late, I take a taxi home. On average, about 500 rubles are spent on transport per week.

Entertainment in our city is tight. My typical vacation: going to the cinema or theater, to a cafe with friends, a pub quiz once every two weeks. In a week, 1.5 thousand is spent on entertainment, if you round up.

As a result, it turns out that I spend 5 thousand rubles per week. I am writing this and am in shock. I spent 5 thousand a week, but lived on 700 rubles.

How I saved on food

I grew up in a family where food is one of the most important pleasures in life, and I am not used to saving on food. But for the sake of the challenge, I had to find ways to cut costs. That's what I did.

1. Determined the budget for the day

I had to spend 60 rubles a day on food (another 40 on travel). It was difficult, I had to give up my usual foods. One pack of cottage cheese, which I eat almost every day, costs 75 rubles, so I had to give up such products.

Pros:

  • I ate more seasonal vegetables and fruits.
  • The food in my refrigerator did not linger.
  • I learned to cook dishes from what I had.

Minuses:

  • Without a clear list, I only bought what was in my daily budget.
  • I ate a lot of empty carbohydrates: sweets, starchy foods. Because such products are cheap.
  • I didn't save. If I had any money left, I spent it on the same empty carbohydrates.

2. Made a list of necessary products

Realizing that daily trips to the store do not help save money at all, I decided to make a list of necessary products and buy everything in one day.

Pros:

  • A clear list prevents you from spending too much.
  • Save time. I spent an hour one day and didn’t go into stores for the rest of the week.
  • The presence of a variety of products inspires culinary experiments.

Minuses:

  • I spent my entire budget on food at once, leaving nothing in reserve.

3. Went to the market

I decided to check how different store prices are from the prices of private manufacturers.

Pros:

  • Some vegetables and fruits are cheaper than in stores.
  • Natural products.
  • You can choose any quantity, but in a store you won’t go to the checkout with just one tomato.

Minuses:

  • Talkative grannies who can easily sell you anything.
  • It is not very convenient to get to the market.

4. Used an app with discounts

In addition to apps with discounts, you can use coupons and promotions for products that interest you. Many stores have personal loyalty cards and bonus cards that can help you save a lot of money.

Pros:

  • You can see great deals.
  • You can compare prices in different stores.

Minuses:

  • The only one, but bold - not all discounts are listed in the applications. From personal experience I was convinced that in stores you can find more goods cheaper.

5. Went to visit

You can chat and eat.

Pros:

  • Delicious food for free.
  • Chat with friends.

Minuses:

  • You need to ask for a visit.
  • You cannot take food with you.

How I saved on transport

It takes me about 40 minutes to get from home to work by minibus. One way fare is 20 rubles, after 8 pm - 24 rubles.

1. I rode the tram

Pros:

  • Saving. The cost of one trip is 18 rubles, when paying by card - 17 rubles.

Minuses:

  • Lack of comfort. The old trams have uncomfortable seats and are cold.
  • The trip takes longer than a minibus.

2. I walked

Pros:

  • I spent a lot of calories.
  • I saw many new beautiful places.
  • Improved willpower.

Minuses:

  • I was very tired and lost my life for two days because I had no strength.
  • Wasted a lot of time.

3. Asked colleagues for a ride

Pros:

  • You can get there quickly, comfortably, in pleasant company.
  • For free.

Minuses:

  • Ask colleagues who could give you a ride.
  • Adapt to your colleague and start working from home.

How I saved on entertainment

I'm not a particularly party person; I spend most of my time at work or at home. I only have fun on the weekends. But if you want to have an interesting time, in our city there are few cool paid events, let alone free ones. Therefore, I was faced with a very difficult task.

1. Attended free events

Pros:

  • I discovered some pretty interesting places, such as museums, that I would never have visited otherwise.

Minuses:

  • Free events in the provinces are often primitive, boring amateur activities.

2. Walked

Pros:

  • Burned calories.
  • I saw many new and beautiful places.
  • I listened to a lot of audiobooks.

Cons: none found.

Bottom line

In seven days I spent 683 rubles.

Overall I'm pleased with the results of my test. I clearly tracked my budget, gave up the habit of buying the first thing that caught my eye, and realized that you can have a good rest without spending a ruble.

Of course, I do not encourage everyone to live on 700 rubles or even 1,000. Everyone has different needs and capabilities. But I advise you to try this experiment. Not to feel how terrible it is, but to understand that you can easily live without your usual expenses and save a lot of money at the same time.

How to live on 1000 rubles a month, as well as on larger sums. This topic is relevant for schoolchildren, students, and pensioners whose monthly income is 5,000 - 10,000 rubles.

This article will tell you about the secrets of surviving on minimal amounts.

How to live on a thousand rubles?

Inspect the refrigerator

Agree, you didn’t immediately start living on a thousand rubles. Before this, they probably bought themselves cereal, sugar, salt, and butter. You need to take a good look at all the shelves and cabinets to see if anything is lying around. Perhaps there are canned goods in the refrigerator, and pickles in the attic.

We often forget about cucumbers and tomatoes stored in jars. It is possible that jam is waiting for you somewhere in a secluded place.

Dry the hardened bread into crackers; don’t throw anything away.

Choose the right store

It’s better not to go to the market for vegetables, but to go to stores like “Auchana” and “Fix price” for other products, because they are cheaper there than in any other places. Pyaterochka often runs promotions, reducing the price by almost half. Discounts often apply to dairy products, crab meat, and cookies.

List of required products

Stop salting food and adding sugar to it. Plus, if you don't add seasonings to your food, you can save extra money.

What you can buy:

  • we buy vermicelli (Petra, Mivina) for six rubles, it will be used instead of pasta;
  • we purchase four cans of stew, the price of each is forty;
  • At the market we take cabbage and beans. It will cost one hundred rubles. A couple of spoons of beans fill a person, cabbage gives the same effect;
  • We buy a pack of buckwheat and rice. Will turn out to be eighty;
  • within a month, take three loaves of bread for fifteen.

Spend fasting days on water or tea. Scientists have proven that this flushes out toxins from the body and is beneficial to a person. Once or twice a week, do this simple thing to save on food. After fasting, you should not immediately eat meat and foods rich in protein. It is better to boil the porridge and add vegetables.

Although it is difficult to give advice here, an individual approach is needed. But, something can significantly change your life. Yes, you may get less vitamins, but your body will feel great.

  1. Walk. To save on travel costs, you will have to walk or ride a bicycle or scooter everywhere. By the way, the longer you walk, the more energy you spend. A tired person does not want to eat, only to rest.
  2. Be sure to buy butter, because it makes food fattier and richer. After the oil you don't feel so hungry.
  3. Get more sleep. The more you sleep, the less you want to eat. If you start falling asleep late in the evening, when it is already dark, you will not waste electricity and water. When you come home from work, go straight to bed. To avoid spending money on using an iron, carefully hang your clothes on a hanger or the back of a chair.
  4. Go visit. You can eat for free when visiting. Pretend that you were passing by and accidentally decided to drop by and exchange a few words. A hospitable host will always seat the visitor at the table and feed him.
  5. Drink from the cooler at work and in shopping centers. Free water can be found in large stores, as well as in the office. There is no point in spending money on water if you can save on it. By the way, if what comes from the tap is not yellow rust, then stop being disdainful and drink it. Of course, it's better to boil. This will fill your stomach for a couple of hours, and the feeling of hunger will go away.
  6. Use the Internet only in places where there is free Wi-Fi. These are cafes, restaurants, large parks.
  7. By the way, if you don’t mind your stomach, then go shopping and ask for expired goods. By law you are required to throw it away, but what difference does it make where to sell the damaged things? For example, you can safely eat expired sausage for another two weeks after the expiration date, cereals even more so. We do not recommend consuming fermented milk products.
  8. When washing dishes, don't waste water on every mug and plate. Wait until there is a sufficient amount in the sink before you start cleaning.
  9. Replace your vacuum cleaner with a broom and dustpan. Cleaning includes airing the room and removing dust from the floor, shelves, and table. Now there is no money to wash windows.

You can live on a thousand for about two weeks, taking into account the fact that you need to pay bills.

How to live on three thousand rubles?

And although it will be easier for you than a thousand, these are also small means. Simply, take into account that you need to spend less on things you don’t need.

  1. Still walking. For now, you don’t have the opportunity to buy your own travel pass, so you’ll have to get to your destination on your own.
  2. Get a job as a dishwasher in a school cafeteria. There the workers are fed breakfast and lunch. After shifts, a lot of uneaten food is left behind, which workers take for themselves or give to homeless animals.
  3. If you already have a job, then move on to creating a menu.
  4. By the way, many establishments organize promotions and issue coupons. For example, if you tell the cashier at Burger King the required code, you will be given lunch, for which you only have to pay a ruble. By the way, here's another life hack: don't throw away your cola cup. The bookmaker has a machine that pours drinks for free if you buy a glass on the same day. However, this is not verified in any way. Just choose a moment when there are a lot of people in the place and stand in line for drinks.
  5. Go to large stores, they often conduct product tastings. You can safely approach some counters several times. The staff who stand on free items will be only too happy when you spare them food. They are praised for successfully sorting out the delicacies. Perhaps you will help someone get a bonus.

How to live on ten thousand?

Many students live on five thousand a month while studying at the university, so there is a lot of information on the Internet on how to survive on ten.

Here's what you need to know:

  1. If you need to pay for your place of residence, then set aside two thousand in reserve.
  2. Buy clothes at second-hand stores or on sales. Usually a winter jacket is almost twice as expensive to buy in summer. In the summer it will cost about two thousand on clothes, if you don’t radically update your wardrobe. In winter you will have to postpone until five.
  3. Now you can afford a travel card to get to work or school.
  4. With this amount you have the opportunity to afford some kind of entertainment (they are described below).
  5. At different times of the year you will have different balances for food, but four thousand should always be left. Therefore, plan your budget, counting on one hundred and fifty rubles a day. For example, a packet of buckwheat is enough for three meals. Three bags = nine days of satiety. This works with any cereal and packets of pasta.

In general, now you are free to buy almost everything that is on the shelves. Of course, within reason.

Vegetables and fruits, yoghurts, meat (preferably chicken and pork), bread, eggs, even chocolate. Combine foods with each other so they don't get boring.

Part time job

To increase your budget a little, you can get a part-time job that won’t take up much time:

  1. For example, janitors get up at six in the morning and clean the area. In an hour or two, the work will be ready, and you will have time to go about your business. The same applies to entrance cleaners. They have different contracts, but most often you will have to wash the floors once or twice a week.
  2. Another option for morning work is dog walking. Sometimes the owners are lazy, others cannot due to health reasons. And the animal needs to get out of the house at least once a day. Half an hour of walking costs about three hundred rubles. You can pick up a lot of small dogs at once and walk with the whole pack.
  3. People without experience or education are hired as copywriters and rewriters. If this is an order to write an article, then it can be completed in an hour, receiving from forty to two hundred rubles. With more experience and reputation, your salary will increase and you will gain a client base. If you don’t know how to write texts, then try entering a paid captcha or going through paid questions.
  4. Payment for distributing and posting leaflets is made in different ways. This could be an hourly rate, or it could be by the piece. In the case of the second option, you will have to constantly take pictures of the work done on your phone to prove that you deserve the money.
  5. Collect bottles and unnecessary paper. There is nothing wrong with this, plus you are helping to clean up the environment.
  6. There are centers testing new medications. You will be placed in a room for twenty-four hours and given medication. You should write down all your sensations and symptoms. By the way, they will feed you there and rent a bed.
  7. Create an account on Instagram and VK, other social networks. Constantly participate in the repost competition. Who knows, maybe you will get a set of books, a thousand rubles, a coupon for a cafe or an apartment. Reposts are free, so go for it.

Sell old things. You don't have to go to a pawnshop to get money for property. Go to flea markets or post an ad on Avito. You'll get pennies, but you can really live on them for another week. Although it depends on what to sell. You can also have a TV. You won’t need it anyway: you don’t have time to watch it, and it wastes electricity. It's better to lie down to sleep or work.

Cheap and free entertainment

  1. If you are a student, then you can visit almost all museums and exhibitions for free.
  2. For an ordinary person, a trip to the museum will also cost about fifty or one hundred rubles. The main thing is to choose little-known artists. They generally have free entry.
  3. Walk in the parks. Some have free rides.
  4. There is a day of the week in cinemas when tickets cost a hundred rubles all day. Find out this day and enjoy watching.
  5. Go to city events. There are parades in the squares, creative organizations always show their skills, and fireworks are often set off at the end.
  6. Stay tuned for new places to open. In the first days of work, they often offer big discounts, or even set up a buffet for guests.
  7. Eating competitions are often held in big cities. Look for those with free entry. And if you become a winner, you will also be awarded a cash prize.

A ticket to the zoo also costs up to two hundred rubles, but you are allowed to walk among the animals all day long.

People who confirmed the words from the article

On YouTube you can google experiments in which people live on a thousand, three, five and ten rubles a month.

The guy plans to live on less than three thousand throughout 2019.

But a man in 2018 lives on a thousand a month.

Well, and one more thing, here’s an example of how a man survives on an income of 5,000 rubles. Look through it, get inspired by it and draw the right conclusions.

Let's sum it up

So, we found out that people manage to live even on a meager amount. Apply useful tips to survive in any unforeseen situation.

Today we have a household experiment: how can a family of 4 people spend no more than 3 thousand rubles on food?

Participants: ordinary family: mom, dad, son (6 years old) and daughter (2 years old)

Location: Moscow region

Target: spend no more than 3,000 rubles on weekly groceries

Result: 2370 rubles spent. None of the participants were injured)

The task of eating for three thousand a week (this is the amount our readers on social networks chose for the experiment) at first seemed quite simple to us, since we almost always fit into this budget. But recently, you know what’s going on with the country’s economy, and this could not but affect the price level for all goods. The usual nutrition plan also became more expensive. However, we tried to keep costs down as much as possible, while trying not to deprive ourselves or go hungry.

Main difficulties

  • We eat differently. I don’t eat meat, my husband, on the contrary, is a meat eater, and my son and daughter are selective about certain foods.
  • I do not like cooking. For the same reason, I’m not particularly good at it. It’s good that the family prefers simple dishes that do not require special culinary talent.

Our advantages

  • It’s easier for us to save on food: we all get full with a small amount of food.
  • The husband and children are not picky about food, and are grateful for any variety, even if it is alternating types of meat and simple side dishes.
  • There is no cult of food in our family, we eat precisely to satisfy hunger, we practically don’t go to restaurants, except for a snack in a cafe during a long family walk.

Principles of saving during a crisis

  • Prices for imported goods have increased - we buy domestic goods.
  • Branded items and products have risen in price significantly - we don’t overpay for the brand, packaging, and we don’t disdain promotions and sales.
  • When buying some products (for example, factory-made sweets and baked goods), we often follow our own laziness (well, okay, we save time!), not wanting to cook it ourselves, and the cost of home-baked goods is much lower than the price of a finished loaf. And homemade yogurt is practically free compared to store-bought ones.
  • We establish good relationships with sellers in the market. We go to “our” trusted guys: when I take vegetables and fruits from them, they will definitely add a golden onion for the broth, a celery root for it, and as a bonus, a couple of tangerines for the children.

Weekly food basket

Before purchasing groceries, I checked our supplies.

Available were:

Dried apples;

A jar of pickles;

Apple jam;

Sunflower oil (once bought in large quantities at a sale);

Chopped and frozen leeks;

Dry cat food (for cats!).

Made the task as difficult as possible

Usually dad only has breakfast and dinner at our house and lunches at work, but this week (due to illness) he worked remotely. And my son generally eats in kindergarten, so for the purity of the experiment, to his great joy, a week-long vacation was arranged.

Making a menu

The basis of everything is planning. Without a well-planned menu, no savings will be achieved. With my dislike of cooking, planning a menu is both simple and difficult at the same time. Simple - because the choice of what I manage not to spoil is small, difficult due to the poor variety. But no one has complained yet!

The menu for the week looked like this:

Based on the compiled menu, we buy products according to the list, taking into account what is already in stock.

As you can see, we just missed the 2000 thousand mark :)

  • One chicken made two soups (one for two days, the other for one), pilaf, cutlets for the children, two legs for dad (for two dinners), wings (also for dinner).

And a whole chicken, of course, costs much less than if you buy it in pieces.

  • For homemade yogurt, natural yogurt was used as a starter, milk and a slow cooker in heating mode. I don’t have a “yogurt” mode, so through trial and error I found a way to make yogurt in my miracle saucepan.
  • Fruits were purchased at a special price in the store, vegetables at a special “friendly” price at the market.
  • Fish – pollock. Cheap and, by the way, very useful.
  • Bananas, apples, carrot slices, and raisins were used as snacks.

If you still spend exactly 3000, then I would also add nuts and dried fruits - in winter this is better than out-of-season fruits.

And if you take the minimum, but choose the right chicken, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes and apples: you won’t die of hunger, but, of course, this cannot be called complete nutrition.

Bon appetit everyone, and remember - we do not live to eat, but we eat to live!

for a whole week, I took into account only the cost of food, and per person. At the same time, I was well aware that everyone has different tastes in food. However, when choosing products and creating a menu for the week, I tried not only to take into account the price, but also take into account the health benefits of these dishes.

So we went to the store and bought:

Cheese, 350 g – 114 rub. / Zucchini, 1.5 kg – 57 rub. / Broiler chicken, 1,800 kg – 233.82 rub. / Chopped tuna in its own juice, 185 g – 45.1 rubles / Chicken egg, a dozen – 48.6 rubles. / Steamed long-grain rice, 5 bags of 100 g – 57.7 rub. / Potatoes, 2 kg – 21.8 rub. / Natural coffee, roasted, ground, 250 g – 109.7 rub. / Butter 62%, 180 g – 24.8 rub. / Pickled cucumbers, 680 g – 54.2 rub. / Sauerkraut with cranberries, 400 g – 50.9 rub. / Tomato paste, 140 g – 38.8 rub. / Beetroot, 1.9 kg–- 22.61 rub. / Onions, 1.4 kg – 17.5 rubles. / Vermicelli, 450 g –35.2 rub. / Washed carrots, 1.1 kg – 40.47 rub.

Total goods worth: 994.00 rub. (6 rubles left!)

Breakfast: coffee, tea and other colonial goods…

I don’t know about anyone, but personally, I prefer to drink coffee for breakfast. This explains his presence on the list. It is likely that you prefer tea.

Well, so much the better: the cost of coffee is equivalent to a pack of tea and a bar of chocolate or oatmeal. For breakfast, you can also boil or fry an egg - 7 pieces are enough for a week (we will still need the other three).

Lunch to go

We remember that money on food has already been spent and we won’t be able to have a “snack” somewhere. Therefore, we make a knight’s move and prepare dishes that can be easily put into a lunch box and taken with you.

Express option

Most offices have a microwave. Therefore, boil some vermicelli according to the instructions on the package. While it is cooking, grate some cheese and put it in a separate bag.

Drain the vermicelli, put a little oil in it, and put it in the lunch box. For lunch, all you need to do is sprinkle some cheese on top. This option is good for 2-3 days.

Second express option

We wash a couple of potatoes and take them with us along with canned tuna. During lunch, we bake them in the microwave (or pre-bake them at home and reheat them in the office). You can also add grated cheese to baked potatoes by first cutting the potatoes in half and stuffing them.

The first one went!

– We cut the chicken into two parts and cook the broth from one, not forgetting to add spices to taste. You can then eat it separately, eating it with a boiled egg, or cook soup by adding noodles and potatoes. The first dish is ready!

The second one has gone!

- 5 pieces. Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices; do the same with some of the zucchini.

– We cut the second part of the chicken into small pieces. We cut the onion into circles, put it in the duck pot, after pouring sunflower oil into it. Place over medium heat, wait until the onion becomes transparent, and add the chicken pieces.

When the chicken has slightly “set”, put potato and zucchini slices into the duckling pan, add 2 cups of water, tomato paste and leave to simmer. When the potatoes are almost ready, add salt, pepper and any other spices to taste - you can also add half a cup of broth. An excellent dinner is guaranteed for the whole week!

Great schemer

– Boil (separately) the following ingredients: rice, 4 jacket potatoes, 3 carrots, 3 beets. We clean the vegetables, cut them into cubes and put them in a bowl, after pouring them with sunflower oil. We also put the rice in a separate container.

– We cut the second part of the zucchini into cubes, simmer with onions and carrots and put them in a separate box.

– Remove ½ of the cooked chicken from the broth and cut it into small pieces and also put it in a separate box.

From the ingredients obtained you can make and take with you:

1. Vinaigrette:

Mix some beets, potatoes, carrots in a separate bowl, adding pickled cucumbers and sauerkraut. Make only as much as you can eat. It is better to store cucumbers and cabbage separately from other ingredients. If there are peas or beans in the bins of your homeland, then add them too.

2. You can eat stewed zucchini

– as an independent dish;

– mix with rice;

– mix with rice and pieces of chicken;

– just mix rice with chicken.

You can also simply fry rice with a chicken egg, or fry zucchini slices after rolling them in the egg. Thus, for the week we ended up with quite a pickle and vitamin menu.

And three more things...

1. Having included chicken meat in the menu, I proceeded from the fact that many people cannot imagine life without meat. However, meat can be replaced with plant sources of protein.

In addition to rice, which is included in the 1000-ruble limit, you can include lentils and beans in your diet - they will significantly help reduce your costs.

2. Don't buy semi-finished products.

In addition to the fact that frozen foods contain excessive amounts of sugars, fats and salt, their cost is also much higher. If you need protein, buy tuna in its own juice, it’s much healthier!

3. Fresh vegetables are, of course, good, but they also spoil much faster. Give preference to pickles and marinated seasonal vegetables - a great way to preserve their beneficial properties!

Well, a thousand is without taking into account travel, only food. In general, I have a couple of tricks that allow you to save money, which I will be happy to share and will not refuse to hear something useful in response.

1. Your best friend is chicken and meat bones. But chicken is better. You buy chicken bones from which the breast has been cut, or what is called a “soup kit”. Or just half a chicken. Cook the broth (for the broth you also need an onion and a carrot). You take out the chicken, scrape off the remaining meat, there should be enough of it for a meat salad, where you can crumble everything that is lying around in the refrigerator - a potato, a boiled egg, a cucumber there. Total food for two to three days. Make soup from part of the broth now, freeze part of it - it will be useful for later. If the chicken had a lot of meat, you can make pilaf.
2. Soups are generally your best friend when money is tight. You will mainly eat them. At the same time it is good for the stomach. You can cook soups from canned fish, potatoes, cereals, sorrel, cabbage... Yes, from everything! The main thing is the broth and frying from the point below.
3. Carrots + onions + frying pan = frying. Everything becomes better when fried, even simple pasta. Sauté the onions and carrots, throw the cooked pasta into the frying pan, and lightly fry it all. If you add a little tomato paste, that's good too. Frying, saffron and rice give us some semblance of pilaf.
4. Don't buy sausage and cheese and don't eat sandwiches. Sausage and cheese are now more expensive than meat, but they are of little use. Sandwiches are generally evil, the most wasteful food ever.
5. If you really want a sandwich, make homemade liver pate, it’s very tasty. You buy chicken liver, carefully remove the membranes, fry it, then simmer it with onions, carrots and spices. Grind the finished mass into a paste with a blender and place in containers. Spread on bread - mmmm! It should be remembered that homemade pate, unlike store-bought pate, contains no preservatives, so this pate can be stored for no more than a week.
6. In the morning, have porridge for breakfast. Unless, of course, you eat porridge. But there are a lot of different cereals, you can choose according to your taste - semolina, oatmeal, rice, millet (however, you need to cook it in the evening), buckwheat, pearl barley.
7. During the season, buy cheap vegetables - potatoes, cabbage, zucchini, eggplant. Zucchini can serve as the base for a huge number of dishes. If you add potatoes, carrots, a little chicken and fresh herbs, you get a very tasty meal. You can make zucchini pancakes. If you stew cabbage with leftover meat or sausages, adding a spoonful of tomato paste, you also get a tasty dish. You can make a lot of things from potatoes, including potato pancakes - potato pancakes. Beets, potatoes, pickles, onions, carrots and peas give us a vinaigrette.
8. Things like chickpeas, lentils and beans also help a lot - they're a source of plant-based protein and a filling meal.
9. If you want something sweet, a cake or buns, bake pancakes (1 glass of kefir, pancake flour, 1 egg, sugar, 1 spoon of sunflower oil, if frying in a non-stick frying pan). They can be eaten with jam or condensed milk. Or make apple charlotte.
10. During the season, you can try to look for discounted fruits. In general, look for discounts everywhere!

I'm deliberately not suggesting buying cheap sausages as a main course, because, really, it's better to eat vegetables and chicken broth than this crap. If you want protein, you can eat eggs, canned fish, chicken legs, liver or hearts.
